Hype, what is it?

Have you noticed something? Upon reviewing several online business promotions. Many of them seem to fit a cookie-cutter mold. One that is pulled out of a box and tied on just the way it came out. This seemed very interesting to me especially when I closed two promotional windows from different people only to have the same or similar box pop up and say someone wants to chat about me leaving! This all smacks to me of some kind of dangerous proding, the kind that lead some to attend seminars where a motivational speaker, in the end, is the only one making money.

Now I don't doubt that some of these people are doing very well. But it appears they are doing well on your dime. What I am looking for is something more real. Something that is based on education or principals. I really do not want a program or offer to tell me I will make millions. I want to make money but legitimately! I really would have a difficult time sleeping at night if I scammed someone out of hundreds of dollars and did not help them in any way actually reach a similar goal.

One of the reasons I created this site was I want the truth. I don't want the drama, hype or sales pitches. I wanted to know exactly how to make a reasonable amount of extra money on the side promoting or working a small business where I am the boss, and no one else. This is all. No millions, no earth shaking new strategy or newly discovered loop-hole in some search engine.

The Quest

I am on a quest to make money online the REAL way. Over the next few days, months or years I will be in process of putting a program together. I will tell you of my successes and failures, ideas and mistakes. If you will stay with me, I am sure we will learn something together.

Just so you know I am not about all the hype. I really don't like the pomp and glitter. I am for sound business advice and even technical know-how. I believe in the statement "trust, but verify". Testimonials are great, when they are true.
